Instagram: Good Food

Ate this salad yesterday while I was working on my diet history post (link in bio) and started thinking about all the different components that I would have considered off-limits over the years. 🍇 Too sugary 🍗 Too calorie-dense 🥗 Too carb-y 🌰 Too fatty 🤷🏻‍♀️ Like I mentioned in my #fatbulimic post, my #edtreatment was far from perfect. But it *did* get me to stop thinking about foods as “good” or “bad,” and to recognize as problematic (for me) any way of eating that got me thinking that way. ⚖️ #bulimiarecovery is a long process — for me, probably unending. I’ve finally accepted that normal eating is going to be hard for the rest of my life. It’s not fair, but that’s life. #bulimiasucks
